terms.
These terms cover your use of pepinsiders.com and anything you buy from us. They're written to be read. If something here isn't clear, email us and ask.
1. Who we are
PepInsiders sells research-use-only materials. We also run a free check — on any vendor's price, including our own.
Those two facts belong together, and you should hear the awkward half from us: we only make money when you buy from us. That's the part that makes the check worth reading. A site earning a commission on whichever link you click never has a reason to tell you to stay where you are. We have every reason to, and we send that verdict anyway — each "keep your source" is a sale we talked ourselves out of, in writing, with our name on it.
So read our verdicts knowing exactly who wrote them: a seller with a disclosed interest in your order, not a neutral third party.
2. Research use only
All products offered through PepInsiders are intended solely for laboratory research and other non-clinical research purposes. Not for human or veterinary use. Not for consumption, administration, diagnosis, treatment, mitigation, cure, or prevention of any disease or condition.
The full terms of that restriction — including the scope of the check and your responsibility as a purchaser — are in our Research-use policy, which is part of these terms.
Nothing on this site has been evaluated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 21 years old and legally able to enter into a contract to use this site or place an order.
4. The free check
The check is free and carries no obligation to buy anything.
What it is: you send us a product, a quantity, a link, a screenshot, a price, or just a name. We reply with our read on the price you were quoted relative to the market, the quantity you're being asked to buy, and the state of the documentation on the page. Our verdict will be one of three things: you're overpaying, the price is fair, or keep your source.
What it is not:
- It is not advice about what to buy, why to buy it, or what to do with it. Our verdicts address pricing, quantity, availability, and documentation status only.
- It is not a representation about the quality, purity, identity, or safety of anything sold by anyone else. We read what a seller published; we did not test their product.
- It is not a guarantee that a price is available, will stay available, or was accurate when you read it. Market prices move.
- It does not create a professional relationship of any kind between us.
How we use what you send. We use your submission to answer your question. We may also use the general price information in it — stripped of anything identifying you, and never attributed to a named source in public — to keep our own understanding of market pricing current. See our Privacy Policy.
Our conflict, stated plainly. We sell. A verdict that says "you're overpaying" is a verdict that stands to make us money. We think the fact that we also send "keep your source" verdicts is what makes the other two worth reading — but you should weigh our verdicts knowing exactly who wrote them.
5. Ordering
We don't have self-serve checkout. Orders are confirmed with a person.
- Prices on this site are our published prices. They're the same for everyone. If we quote you something different because you showed us a competitor's price, that quote is specific to that conversation.
- Before you pay, you'll see and approve the price, the quantity, the availability, and the documentation for what we intend to send. Nothing ships that you haven't approved.
- If we can't source what you approved, we'll tell you and refund you. We don't substitute silently.
- We may decline or cancel any order — including for suspected fraud, orders we can't source, or requests that would require us to say things we don't say.
- Prices, availability, and listings can change without notice. Errors happen; if we list something wrong, we'll tell you before you pay rather than quietly honor it or quietly cancel.
6. Documentation
Where we post batch documentation or results, they're entered by us from the paperwork we hold, and describe only the batch identified. We don't publish claims that exceed the data we actually have. Documentation describes a batch's paperwork — it is not a statement about suitability for any purpose.
7. Returns and refunds
We don't take returns. The reason, and the complete list of what we do instead, are on the Returns page, which is part of these terms.
In short: three situations are covered — wrong item arrived, damaged in transit, or documentation that doesn't match what you approved. Each has a stated remedy, and none of them is discretionary. A photo of what arrived, as it arrived, is required for every claim. That list is the whole list.
8. Acceptable use
Don't use this site to break the law. Don't use it to acquire materials for human or veterinary use. Don't misrepresent who you are. Don't scrape it, don't try to break it, and don't use our content to imply we endorse you or your product.
9. Using our content
Quote us. Screenshot our articles, our math, our verdicts — post them in a thread, send them to a friend, use them to win an argument. Attribution is all we ask. We built this material to travel.
What we don't allow: republishing it wholesale as your own work, or using our content to imply we endorse you or your product.
10. No warranties
The site and its content are provided as-is. We don't warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or current, and we don't warrant that a price we quoted, a market range we described, or a third-party claim we read is accurate at the moment you read it.
11. Limits
To the fullest extent the law allows, our responsibility for any claim connected to the site, a check, or an order is limited to the amount you paid us for the order the claim relates to. We're not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, or for what a third-party seller does or doesn't do.
This doesn't limit anything that can't be limited by law.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. If we change something that matters, we'll change the date at the top. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute goes to the state or federal courts located in Pinellas County, Florida, and you and we agree to that venue.
